Daniel Harkavy

Founder, CEO & Executive Coach

Daniel Harkavy

With more than 25 years of coaching experience, Daniel has coached thousands of business leaders to peak levels of success, performance, profitability and fulfillment. In 1996, he took his passion for coaching teams and leaders and founded Building Champions, where he serves as CEO and Executive Coach.

In addition to coaching some of his own teammates, Daniel’s current role includes one-on-one executive coaching, executive retreats, speaking engagements and delivering custom on-site experiences for business leaders and teams around the world – all with a focus on helping his clients to improve their performance and results in business and life.

In 2007, he authored Becoming a Coaching Leader: The Proven Strategy for Building Your Own Team of Champions, which takes his years of coaching experience and transfers it into a system that leaders can use to more effectively develop their teams.

Daniel started his career in finance where he quickly developed his team into the company’s most productive and profitable group and was promoted to Vice President. After 10 rewarding years with that company, he followed his vision to create his own company whose sole product would be to help others lead more purposeful businesses and lives.

Like most CEOs, Daniel really knows his way around a boardroom, but it’s the other variety of boards that really get him excited. Whether they are surfboards, skateboards or snowboards, he loves the opportunity to be out and active with his family and friends.

Daniel is also active in his community as a member of non-profit boards and a mentor to those who seek his leadership advice. He lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon, with his wife, Sheri, and their four wonderful children: Alexandra, Dylan, Wesley and Emily.

You can keep up with Daniel and get his thoughts on proactive and intentional leading and living by following him on Twitter or visiting his blog.
