Katie, a native Oregonian, joined Building Champions in 2004 in the marketing department. In her current role, she is in charge of developing unique experiences and events for our clients and partners – a perfect fit given her attention to details and her ability to create memorable experiences.
Before joining Building Champions, Katie honed her marketing skills at Nike® where she worked with the public relations team and with an advertising agency in Bend.
Katie’s experience also extends far beyond the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College and marrying her high school sweetheart, Josh, the couple spent a year in Japan working in marketing and teaching English.
Katie and Josh enjoy hiking and traveling with their dog, Joey, exploring Portland’s great local restaurants and mastering their new role as parents after welcoming their first son to their family in September 2010.
