Michelle Feenstra

Michelle joined the Building Champions team at the beginning of 2004. She spent the previous six years in the mortgage industry, where she developed partnerships with many top-producing Realtors. Although she experienced great success, her heart was (and is) in helping others find balance between their personal and professional lives.
Prior to working in the residential lending arena, Michelle worked for eight years as a Commercial/National Account Manager in the title industry. With her sales skills and affinity towards marketing, she was able to help her company reach and maintain the highest percentage of market share in Portland, Oregon. There was never a 'dragon' Michelle was afraid of slaying. It gave her great pleasure to call on what her peers perceived to be the most difficult market of all – prominent real estate attorneys. She found that in order to gain their business, she first had to earn their trust… in her and in her company. After a professional and mutually beneficial relationship was established, business followed.
For four years (1999-2002), Michelle and her husband lived in Arizona, where they were both in the mortgage business. When the desire to be near family outweighed the desire to be in the “Valley of the Sun,” they moved back home to Portland, Oregon, where they also decided to become a mortgage team with First Horizon Home Loans. Their first year back in Oregon they closed $65 million, and with their database pumped up, marketing systems in place, and a Loan Assistant well-trained, Michelle seized the opportunity to pursue her dream of helping others through the One-on-One Coaching System at Building Champions.
Michelle and Chuck have been married since 1996. She has a wonderful relationship with her three stepchildren; Matt, Erin and Bethany, as well as her 'emotionally adopted daughter,' Shaenna. Michelle and Chuck have a second home in Sunriver, a resort area in Central Oregon, where they try to spend at least one weekend a month.
