With more than 25 years of coaching experience, Daniel has coached thousands of business leaders to peak levels of success, performance, profitability and fulfillment. In 1996, he harnessed his passion for coaching teams and leaders and founded Building Champions, where he serves as CEO and Executive Coach.
Daniel delivers one-on-one executive coaching sessions, executive retreats, speaking engagements and custom on-site experiences for business leaders and teams around the world all with a focus on helping his clients to improve their performance and results in business and life. Past clients include Chick-fil-A, Pfizer, Infineum (an ExxonMobil and Shell company), Bank of America, Wells Fargo, MetLife, PrimeLending, US Bank, Northwestern Mutual, Morgan Stanley, Prudential, Merrill Lynch and many others.
In 2007, he authored Becoming a Coaching Leader: The Proven Strategy for Building Your Own Team of Champions. Drawing upon years of coaching experience, Daniel offers practical insight and proven methods to more effectively develop teams and achieve results with meaning. His second book, Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want, which he co-authored with Michael Hyatt, was published in 2016. In their book, Daniel and Michael provide a step-by-step guide to develop a Life Plan, both personally and professionally.
Prior to Building Champions, Daniel spent 10 years in the mortgage industry, eight of which were spent focused on Coaching and Team Development. His career in finance was fast-tracked after quickly developing his team into the company’s most productive and profitable group.
Daniel attributes his success to his ability to create healthy and productive cultures. He lives in West Linn, Oregon, with his wife and family, where he actively serves his community as a member of non-profit boards and mentor to those seeking his leadership advice. His other passions include surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding.
