Dan Foster

President & Executive Coach

Dan serves as President of Building Champions, where he leads the company’s coaches, staff, and strategic direction. In this role, he works closely with the leadership team to guide the organization’s growth, strengthen client impact, develop team members, and ensure Building Champions continues delivering exceptional value to the leaders and organizations it serves. Drawing on more than 20 years of leadership experience Dan is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  

Throughout his coaching career, Dan Foster has helped senior-level executives set compelling visions, execute strategic initiatives, and build dynamic cultures within their organizations. With a heart for helping leaders live and lead with greater intentionality and purpose, Dan brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to his clients. His approach integrates proven coaching principles with personalized strategies, helping executives increase their influence, make better decisions, and achieve meaningful results. 

Before joining Building Champions in 2011, Dan experienced firsthand the transformative power of coaching as a client. While serving as Managing Principal Broker at Prudential Northwest Properties, he partnered with a Building Champions coach and applied coaching principles to his leadership approach. This led to record-breaking results and significant growth for his team. Understanding the profound impact coaching had on his own leadership journey, Dan was inspired to help other leaders experience similar growth in their lives, teams, and organizations. 

Dan earned his MBA from George Fox University and has previously returned to his alma mater as a professor in the MBA program. His commitment to education and leadership development has extended beyond his coaching and leadership roles, as he helps mentor and equip the next generation of business leaders. 

Dan and his wife, Sarah, live in Queen Creek, Arizona. Their two children, Emma and Jackson, are both working and serving in nonprofit organizations, helping people around the world. In his free time, Dan enjoys writing, reading, exploring the outdoors, listening to the amazing adventures of his kids, and traveling with his wife.
