Support Manager
Kristin Schmidt is our Support Manager to Shannon Eckmann, VP of Coaching Services and the team she leads. In her role, Kristin serves as a trusted partner and executive-level administrator while also supporting the coaches and mentors within her team. She manages the many details while keeping our clients at the center of our coaching engagements, including scheduling, client communication, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and day-to-day operational support.
She plays an important role in helping the coaching team stay organized, aligned, and focused on serving clients well. Kristin supports team communication, client engagement, business development follow-through, and the behind-the-scenes coordination needed to deliver a thoughtful and seamless coaching experience. With her calm presence, strong attention to detail, and deep experience supporting high-capacity leaders, Kristin brings both excellence and care to the work happening behind the scenes.
Prior to joining Building Champions, Kristin served as Executive Assistant and Studio Manager at Centerfield Studio, an award-winning full-service architecture firm in Portland, Oregon. In this role, she oversaw daily operations, supported the firm’s principal, managed calendars and travel arrangements, maintained client and vendor relationships, supported project research, managed website content, and helped oversee HR, accounting, tax compliance, and employee benefits.
Earlier in her career, Kristin worked at Wieden+Kennedy, where she supported C-level executives including the Global Chief People Officer, Global CFO, Global President, and HR Director. Her responsibilities included managing executive communications, coordinating complex international travel and expenses, training incoming Executive Assistants, supporting global leadership summits and off-sites, and preparing confidential materials for key stakeholders. She also previously served as Executive Assistant to the President of New Line Cinema at Warner Bros., where she managed executive scheduling, meeting follow-up, production-related communication, travel, expenses, and office operations.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University and a culinary arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu. She resides in Lake Oswego, Oregon with her husband and three children.
